ROOMS
Luxury Rooms
Our 2 luxury rooms are both upstairs in the manor house and are by far our most spacious, superbly appointed, and most sought-after rooms. They both have super-kingsize beds and balcony access overlooking our beautiful gardens, sweeping lawns and sparkling salt water pool. Both of the luxury rooms are tastefully decorated with period pieces. A short walk down the central staircase brings you to the manor house formal dining room where breakfast is served. Both our luxury rooms have en-suite bathrooms (with separate showers and bath), and both have flatscreen TV's with satellite channels. Wireless internet connections are available in both rooms.
Superior Rooms
All the superior rooms in the manor house are tastefully decorated with period pieces. The superior rooms have either super-kingsize or extra-length queensize beds. Apart from the 7 rooms in the manor house, we also have a number of superior rooms outside which open out to our lovely gardens, sweeping lawns and salt water pool. A short walk along the garden path from these rooms brings you to the manor house where breakfast is served in the formal dining room. Some of our superior rooms can be converted into twin beds or triples, if required. All of our superior rooms have en-suite bathrooms and they are equipped with satellite TV and wireless internet connections.
Standard Rooms
All the standard rooms are outside the manor house and they open out into our lovely gardens, sweeping lawns and salt water pool. A short walk along the garden path from these rooms brings you to the manor house where breakfast is served in the formal dining room. These rooms are smaller and have double or twin beds.
All standard rooms have en-suite bathrooms (shower or bath) and they are all equipped with satellite TV and wireless internet connections. Please note that there is a very substantial difference in space and quality and amenities between the small standard rooms and the much larger superior and luxury rooms. We recommend the standard rooms to travelers on a very tight budget; whilst those guests with a little more to spend should consider the superior and luxury rooms, especially couples.
Self-catering cottages
Medindi cottage has a super-kingsize bed and it is air-conditioned. It can be converted to a triple, or a quadroom, if required. Medindi cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, (so you can prepare your own meals) and an en-suite bathroom (with bath/shower), private entrance and off-street parking. It has easy access into our beautiful gardens, sweeping sundrenched lawns and sparkling pool through your private courtyard. It is best suited to travellers looking for extra space, comfort and style, and a proper kitchen.
Madiba cottage is much smaller, has a queensize extra-length bed, en-suite bathroom and a kitchenette which is set-up for the preparation of snack-type meals. Both cottages have DSTV and prepaid wireless internet connections. Please note that there is a very substantial difference in space and quality and amenities between the smaller Madiba cottage and the much larger Medindi cottage.
We recommend the smaller cottage to travellers on a very tight budget; whilst those guests with a little more to spend should consider the larger cottage, especially couples with children, so they can prepare their own meals, including breakfast; plus it has a bath for bathing very young children. If you decide to order breakfast then we may serve it in your cottage depending on the number of other guests eating in the formal dining room. Families with children are free to roam about the gardens and the swimming pool (which is not fenced nor guarded). |
